Butterfly release...

We let our butterflies go yesterday afternoon.  We took them outside to the honeysuckle plant outside our classroom.  One of them really liked Nehana's red t-shirt!
It was a warm day so we were happy to let the butterflies free in the sunshine.  They looked  for nectar in the honeysuckle flowers.
It has been amazing to watch the life cycle of the monarch butterflies.

Wow! What a shame we missed this. Thank goodness for hi-res digital photos! They look amazing.

As a retired science teacher I am impressed by the entire process you have gone through with the butterfly life cycle. Absolutely fascinating and to actually, see it in action is wonderful. Well done
