Life Education Classroom

The Life Education classroom visited our school for three days this week. We got to visit the classroom twice to see Jackie and Harold. Jackie talked to us about how we can keep our bodies healthy. We learned about ways that we are all different and things that make us very important people. Harold sang us some songs and sneaked into our photos...can you spot him?

Super Spellers week 3

Wow! Our whole class were super spellers this week - fantastically, amazingly awesome!!!

Goodbye Akif

Today we had a shared lunch to farewell Akif and celebrate his time with us at our school. We had a real feast. Thank you families for sending along food to share. Best wishes to Akif and his family as they fly back to Malaysia tomorrow.

Being in the Army

Last Thursday Steve Aydon came to our class to talk to us about what he does in the Army. He showed us a lot of the equipment that he carries with him. We got to try on some of his gear. He did some army training exercises with us in the hall. We learned that teamwork is really important if you are in the Army, just like it is at school. Thanks Steve!

Farewell morning tea for Stella

Stella moved to Invercargill at the end of last term. We decided to have a morning tea to farewell Stella. So we made delicious pikelets and had them for morning tea with jam and cream. We will miss you Stella.
