Echo has worked so hard at her handwriting this term. "I can keep my letters on the line and have spaces between my words. I keep my letters close together inside words."

Handwriting Stars

Dominic and Brodie have been working so hard on their handwriting. They both deserve to be handwriting stars. Dominic has already been a handwriting star, but he works so hard to keep his writing neat in all of his work, that he gets to be a star again!! Brodie keeps all of his letters the same size and his writing always sits on the line. Well done to both of you.

Making Gingerbread

We had a very, very small class today as lots of people were away on a Wide Horizons trip. We made delicious, warm, soft gingerbread for our morning tea. Yum, yum! "What a yummy feast we have!" laughed Dominic.

The Fun Bus

We have been sharing a big book in our class called "The Fun Bus." We found our own fun bus at school and went for a ride. This is what will happpen on Jazmin's fun bus...

My bus is a fun bus! My fun bus has a swimming pool. I let all the people on my bus. People can bring their animals into the bus. My bus is pink, purple and red. I let people on my bus on Monday. People have to tell me where they want to go. My bus can transform into a bouncy castle. Some children can play on the playground. People can dance on the singing and dancing stage. People can have tea inside. People can go to the beach for a picnic. People can wear pretty dresses. People can sleep on my bus. People can make magic in my bus. Inside my fun bus there's fun thngs that people can do.

Wow Jazmin I like the sound of your fun bus! Can I come on your bus?

Black Cats

We read a story called Oliver's Party. It was about a curious black cat who tries to get into mischief.
We loved the colourful backgrounds in the story.
We painted black cats and collaged our background.
We think the black cats stand out really well from the colourful backgrounds.
Ben has lost his black cat and only has his background. Maybe there is a mischievous black cat out there somewhere...
