Sharing at Assembly

We shared our koru paintings at assembly this afternoon. We read the Maori legend called Tangaroa's Gift. It told us how the paua got it's beautiful shell. Tanagaroa, God of the Sea used the greens from the forest, blues from the ocean, pink from the sunset and purple from the sunrise, to make the beautiful paua shell. We used these colours in out art work. We think our work looks fantastic. What do you think?

Kaci and Silva did a perfect job of speaking at assembly. Lovely clear speaking girls.

Hi room 10, we really enjoyed your presentation at assembly this week - what great pictures you had painted! I would like to read the story now myself! From Olivers Mum, Dad and Lucia
