Making broad bean mash...

Last Thursday we picked all the broad beans off the plants in our garden...


Then we podded the beans...   
              cooked the beans....
              peeled the skin off the beans...
and whizzed them all up in the food processor with salt, pepper and sour cream.

We made a huge pile of toast and...


...ate the bean mash on toast!

  Most of us loved it....some of us weren't so sure!  But everyone had at least one big bite!
