Beaks, beaks, beaks...

We have been learning about bird beaks.  Birds have different shaped beaks because they eat different things.
Some beaks are long for finding insects in the soil, like a kiwi;
some beaks are sharp, curved and strong for crushing seeds and nuts like a kaka or kea;
some beaks are curved and thin for getting nectar from flowers, like a tui;
some beaks are flat and wide for eating plants and insects from the water, like a duck or pukeko;
some beaks are short, sharp and small like a piwakawaka, for eating seeds and catching insects in the air;
some beaks are curved and sharp like an owl for tearing meat apart.
Which bird are you?
