We are learning about measuring distance with Miss Little. Today we had a mini Olympics at maths time. With our partners, we had to estimate how far we could jump, and then we had to measure the distance using our feet. We have to make sure we measure heel to toe and don't have any gaps. Very good measuring Ramanaia and Britney. Our homework this week is all about measuring things at home.
Wow Room 10 your measurement photos look great. I bet some of you could jump really far! I think the photo where Ramanaia is up in the air is fabulous From Miss B
Welcome to Room H3 at North East Valley Normal School. We are a class of fabulous Year 2 children. Mrs Sintmaartensdijk is our teacher. There are 11 girls and 10 boys in our class. North East Valley is in Dunedin, which is a city in the lower half of the South Island in New Zealand. Our school is cool and we want to show you what is happening in our classroom and at our school. Please send us your comments - we love to read those! Enjoy looking at our blog.
