Today we read the Maori legend called "Tangaroa's Gift." It tells us how paua got his beautiful shell. Here are Jasmine and Kane hard at work painting the violet from the sunrise that was added to paua's shell. Looking good you two.
Hello to all the children in Room 10. I have just been through your whole blog from beginning to end and have been really impressed by what you children have and are achieving. I especially enjoy the spelling and writing blogs. Keep up the good work.
Welcome to Room H3 at North East Valley Normal School. We are a class of fabulous Year 2 children. Mrs Sintmaartensdijk is our teacher. There are 11 girls and 10 boys in our class. North East Valley is in Dunedin, which is a city in the lower half of the South Island in New Zealand. Our school is cool and we want to show you what is happening in our classroom and at our school. Please send us your comments - we love to read those! Enjoy looking at our blog.
