We had a shared morning tea today to farewell the lovely Jessica. We will miss her smiling face in our classroom. Bye bye to our friend Jessica.

Puppets in Room 10

My favourite puppet is a hand puppet, because I can put my whole hand inside the puppet. My favourite puppet animal is the duck because it has got a soft, orange, quacky mouth. I chose a duck. It is nice and has lovely yellow fur like a golden, shiny, yellow sun. It is yellow like the sun so I’ll call it Sunny!

Commonwealth Games

On Monday afternoon the junior classes held a Junior Commonwealth Games on the middle field. We had three teams. Each team had their own flag with a flag bearer. We had running races, throwing competitions, long jump and games. We finished with a medal ceremony and sang the National Anthem with real pride. We had a fantastic afternoon and all felt really proud of our efforts.
