Baking Anzac Biscuits

Yesterday we baked Anzac biscuits at school. We measured, we melted, we mixed, we rolled, we flattened, we cooked and we munched and crunched the warm biscuits. They were soft in the middle and crunchy around the edges. They were delicious on a rainy day.

Handwriting Star

Braeden is our first handwriting star this year in room 10. Braeden has been working hard to make his letters smaller. All of his letters are sitting on the line. Keep up the great writing back in America Braeden.

Super Spellers Term 2 Week 1

We had lots of children away from our class today on a trip. We still had 5 outstanding spellers who got all of their spelling correct today. Well done to you super spellers.

Marmite and Lettuce Sandwiches

Welcome back to our blog for 2010. We are looking forward to people reading our blog and finding out what is happening in our classroom. Yesterday we picked some lettuce from our garden and made delicious sandwiches.

Yesterday we made some sandwiches. Jessica pulled the lettuce out of the garden and Jessica chose the red lettuce. Next we washed the lettuce. After that we put it in the spinner to dry the lettuce. Finally we ate the lettuce and marmite sandwiches. Yum, yum, yum, yum!
